happy day

It is a happy day at our house. We have tile up. I know . . . it's just tile, but it makes me deeply and truly happy. I can see a possibility of working plumbing by the end of the week.

While we were out cleaning the buckets and tile saw, some shenanigans began:

And I got Melanie to clean the car, too. Go Mel !!

Life is good.

How fun! Got any workers to spare? Are you redoing another bathroom? Looks like quite the project!

It looks like everyone enjoyed their memorial day. I need to get some posts up on my blog very soon...
And Happy Belated Birthday to Dave!!!

And where was Roxanne while all of this fun was going on? And by the way, why weren't you doing any sprinkler acrobats?

Roxanne (and usually Rachel, too) have an uncanny talent of filling their schedules on family work days - "I have to work, I have to study for an exam, I have a music lesson, I have to babysit" etc. etc. So Roxanne has a new job this summer and she had to work all day. Compared to working with Dave, though, her job is hardly "work" comparatively. She said one time when she was little (after a hard day of physical labor with Dave "I can't wait until I get a job so I don't have to work!"

This has got to be THE most dazzling progression of action photos from people not associated with Cirque du Soleil...

What happened when Dave and Mother Earth were reunited - ?
